Doha, March 21 (QNA) - Akram Afif scored a brace in minutes (47 - 68) as Qatar defeated Kuwait 3-0 in Doha on Thursday to maintain Group A top spot in the joint Asia qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup finals with nine points.
Substitute Ahmed Al Rawi netted the second goal in the 51st minute in the game at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
The two sides will clash again nest Tuesday in Kuwait. (QNA)
